It's Official

I have just returned from my annual physical and I can now officially say the challenge has been met. As our fearless leader comments on her posting...now the challenge will be to keep it off!

  1. Congratulations! With all the walking and exercising that you have been doing it should be a breeze to keep it off.

  2. Way to go Leslie. With all the exercise I'm sure you will have no trouble keeping it off. Good work I am hoping to lose a few pounds tomorrow night as I walk in the Relay for Life. See you next week

  8. Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow creeps in this petty pace from day to day to the last syllable of recorded time,,,,
I am filled with jealousy and envy as I wish you congratulations on a job well done. I am no longer recording my lack of progress on the weight loss front.I AM the chubby girl on the sidebar. Totally discouraged
But this means you can actually have a cupcake instead of admiring the visual. Go on...have a cupcake.

  9. Three cheers for you, that's great! No doubt all of the walking you did in NYC helped a bit, too - even if you did have a cupcake while visiting. Travel may be broadening....but it doesn't always have to be, if you know what I mean!

  10. Thanks everyone! I have to say that changing my workouts has shown results. I still have my chicken wings and rancher fries on Wednesday evenings after ballroom line dancing, that is a non-negotiable treat. I think my interval class and new walking outdoors program have made me happy to be in the swing of things, and of course, my dancing fool friends keep me hoppin'. I'm still on the road to more loss, but this time will do it as a 5LB. challenge each time. Much more doable. Keep at it everyone...we can do it YES WE CAN!!!
