Adventures in the Southwest

Sandia Peak Tramway

I have a feeling this rock is hugging the one next to it in order to stay put!

Why has this split rock not tumbled down??

This "Birdie" cloud, leaves a shadow on the ground of a bird flying over the foothills

At 7,000 feet there is no chance of anyone going near the edge!

View from the top

Someone is getting rain over there!

What a lovely day. It was cool and fresh at the top. I had no idea that Albuquerque is 5,000 feet above sea level. Coming from our neck of the woods, it does take a bit of getting used to the change in altitude.

  1. All the best to the happy couple - I know you all must have had a great time. NM is very beautiful, and w/the low humidity, there are some outstanding sunrises/sunsets.

  2. just the views I need on this hot, hot day.

  3. What peaceful vistas you have shared! You were so right.....the blue, blue sky, the incredible clouds :-)

  4. who would want to come back to Mississauga?

  5. Gorgeous views!!
