Boo!

Halloween in The Nation's Capital!

Now THAT'S SCARY!

"When the Frost is on the Punkin"

"When the frost is on the punkin and the fodder's in the shock,"

James Whitcomb Riley. 1853–1916

No wonder I always used to call them Punkins!

  1. When the captain took Tippi out for her early morning walk -- looong before I am up :-) -- he said it was snowing. Bah!!
    Happy Candy Day!

  3. Ma Soeur,
Interestingly enough, I came across that same white stuff as I was out for my afternoon stroll today. I was less than impressed. Is it the chilly weather that is keeping the little goblins in this evening, or are we in a neighbourhood of seniors? We have the best 'punkin' ever and few visitors.
