CASA BATllÓ

Karen, this picture is for you. I immediately thought of "sausage" jewelery when I saw this wire. A few well placed beads and .....INSPIRATION! On the way to another Gaudi fantasy. Casa BatllÓ.

This house of bones is privately owned and lived in at the moment. I suppose if you can afford a home of this stature, you can also afford to be away at tourist season. Who would want all these people tromping up on your roof???

Of course when you do stagger your way up to the roof, there is that other person up here who can only been seen for the effort!

Yes Tracy, this is about as animated as we can expect poor Mark to be these days. We both have horrible colds and are fitting in well with the Spanish Siesta and eating at midnight routine! Wait till you see my snaps after the day we spent in the cemetery! :)

  3. Sorry about the colds... it is probably Zoë's fault. If it's any consolation, she is feeling great these days.
