The essence of the moment

This was among the Griffith Observatory photos from the little family. It could quite possibly be my favourite photo of all time, until the next one comes along:)
 This is quintessential  Zoë.

It is just so meaningful to me that I wanted to share it with you. You know I am rarely at a loss for words, but THIS takes my breath away.

  2. Oh I love pictures that tell a story. Pictured here are the statue (that, except for the hair, looks like LARRY!!) and Zoe and binoculars AND Zoe's thoughts.

Perfect! A picture for all time.

  3. Of course I forgot to mention that while it is being suggested she go in one direction--Zoe is clearly interested in something far different.

  4. Actually it's probably not directional but using a finger to make a calculation.

    BTW, I'm done posting.....

    1. It is another award winner for sure. Thanks for the new skills used in CS5 :) That fill thing was perfect as was the vignette idea.

  9. Zoë and Einstein! How perfect! But I doubt that his flair for the dramatic could have equalled hers!

    1. Her expression is so serious. Albert would definitely have had a time with the relativity of our Zoe girl!

  10. Einstein's assistant is at the ready. On the job. Ready to discover something important. Love this picture and that the binoculars are pink.

    1. Carol, I think this reminded me in a funny way of the movie "Moonrise Kingdom" and that's one reason I found it so utterly charming. Made me smile.
