Is this a real thing?
Yes my dear. This is a real thing. I just thought it was so hilarious that someone did a video of our area (Codes Corners is near Kingston). Since you were engaged in Tim Horton's I was glad that Johnny made a memorable song for you! :) It's just the thing I can hear you singing!!! T-I-M H-O-R-T-O-N S!!! It makes us smile as do you, and the message is clear! Come HOME!
That is fabulous! Jane, are you listening? What a great commercial with everyday scenes, everyday people in such a wonderful country. Kind of makes me want to stroll over to the local Timmy's for a medium steeped tea with milk...and they do it right, no tea bag dangling in a cup!! Hopefully you will get back to Tim Horton country soon Jane; it is indeed the place to be, but it really isn't the same without you!
I'm making The Professor go out and get me a mug as soon as the ice storm is over!
I can't help but think that if Johnny Reid was from Vancouver, this song would go more like S-T-A R-B-U C-K-S.
Sorry Gord, STARBUCKS is one beat short and too long on price for everyday people like Torontonians or Ottawans or Mississaugans or Markhamites. We can't afford what you people can on the other side of the Rockies!!! Does Starbucks even serve steeped tea??? Me thinks not!
Gordon Moran, you get home too! You are obviously getting waaaaay too snobby out there! Starbucks indeed. Except I do like the peppermint mocha specials. Now that I know to ask for fewer pumps!
