Lily-of-the-valley

This post is for David P. who requested to see this year's crop of Lily-of-the-valley in the cornflower vase.

We had a late cold spring here after a devastating winter, but things seem to have come along rather quickly with the ensuing mad heat. The tulips also took their time, then boom! all at once, and short lived. Oh well, after a very long harsh winter of complaining about cold, no one around here dares to say anything about the warmth we craved in January. We just say...."Guess I'm not dressed appropriately today!"

Here you go David. Hope you enjoy the garden bunny guardians, the little plants and the intoxicating aroma. Couldn't resist the song and I know you will now have to watch the original movie "Lili" with Leslie Caron! :)

Every bit as lovely in the garden as they are in you charming vase.
Many thanks for sharing your Springtime garden, Leslie!
