Onward and up the Avenue

A little further along Fifth Avenue is the Frick Collection.

"The Frick Collection is an art museum located in the Henry Clay Frick House on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, New York City at 1 East 70th Street, at the northeast corner with Fifth Avenue. It houses the collection of industrialist Henry Clay Frick (1849–1919)."

We came here in particular to see Flaming June

You cannot take pictures in the Frick mansion but you can get a glimpse of the outside whilst hanging through fences :)

This house and gallery holds a very special meaning to us since it was here that we first learned the news of the expected arrival of our first grandchild. We were visiting NYC with the Schillers and still love this corner of the city.
