Here we go again

Round two, now with the grandkids' Christmas concerts.

Oh how I have missed these events. Such excitement, joy and pride in the little one's performing in a crowded gym. These are the best of Christmas memories.

Luca's Pre-school dance studio was appropriately decorated with works of art from the first semester. Each teacher lead their little troupe in various songs and dances and charmed the audience with their hops and skips and jumps. "Must be Santa" was belted out with a guitar accompaniment. Held during their normal school hours ie: 9 a.m., the kids were at their prime while the parents all clutched coffee and smart phones.

After a nice celebratory brunch at Cora's we were off to the next production of the day at 2 p.m. Much more civilized hour really. The kindergarten children, numbering over 100 students from 6 different classes!....were in three tiers across the entire length of the big gym and clad in pajamas. After several numbers all guests were invited back to the various classrooms. The children and their siblings had juice and cookies and a good look around the room.

The end. It's always good to know how to take a bow. Nice work kids! Can't wait for the next one.

  1. And that is what Christmas is all about, being entertained by your favourite performers. What a wonderful day!
